CPH Acoustics is a small, highly specialized DSP consultancy based in Copenhagen. We help some of the world’s leading electronics manufacturers develop better audio experiences—everything from earbuds and headsets to advanced communication devices.
We’re now looking for an experienced DSP engineer to join our team and work on real audio problems with real customers. If you enjoy digging into algorithms, optimizing code for embedded devices, and collaborating directly with engineers who build consumer products, you’ll fit right in.
Designing and implementing DSP algorithms for audio processing
Working with ANC, AEC, beamforming, noise reduction, and related technologies
Optimizing algorithms for embedded real-time platforms (Qualcomm QCC/S7, HiFi4 DSP, NXP RT600, etc.)
Collaborating with customer development teams
Contributing technical insight and leadership on DSP-heavy projects
Master’s degree in EE, CS, Acoustics, or similar
5+ years of DSP algorithm development experience
Strong C programming skills for embedded systems
Comfortable with MATLAB and/or Python
Experience with real-time audio processing
Good understanding of audio algorithms (ANC, AEC, beamforming, noise reduction)
Clear communication skills in English
Ability to handle confidential customer IP with professionalism
Experience with Qualcomm Bluetooth platforms (QCC / S7)
Experience with Airoha Bluetooth platforms
Experience with Cadence HiFi DSP or ARM Cortex-M processors
Background in consumer electronics audio products
Interest in working across different customer environments
Our ideal candidate is onsite in the Copenhagen office. We’re open to remote work within Denmark, the EU, or the UK for the right person. We’re also open to freelancers if the fit is right.
A flexible, engineering-first workplace
Offices in central Copenhagen with easy access to public transport
Deep involvement in real customer projects with meaningful deliverables
Access to cutting-edge embedded and DSP technologies
A place where you can grow—technically and professionally
Salary following IDA guidelines (50–80,000 DKK/month incl. benefits, depending on experience)
We’re small, which means you’ll have space to shape your role, influence technical decisions, and see the real impact of your work.
We welcome applicants from all backgrounds. We hire based on skills, curiosity, and a passion for audio technology—nothing else.
