Role overview

We are looking for a curious and motivated Student Software Engineer to join KIME’s engineering team while you are studying. You will work hands-on with real production code, contribute to meaningful features, and learn how a modern AI-powered SaaS product is built from the inside.

This is an onsite role based in Copenhagen, ideal for a student who wants practical startup experience alongside their studies.

Tech stack

You will gain experience with:

• Backend: Node.js, TypeScript

• Frontend: React, TypeScript

• Database: PostgreSQL

• AI & LLM integrations: OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity, and other LLM APIs

• Infrastructure: Cloud-based

Responsibilities

• Assist in building and maintaining product features using Node.js, TypeScript, and React

• Work with PostgreSQL databases and backend APIs

• Support integrations with LLM APIs and AI-driven workflows

• Collaborate with senior engineers

• Learn and apply software engineering best practices in a real-world environment

Required qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

• Basic experience with JavaScript or TypeScript

• Familiarity with React or modern frontend frameworks is a plus

• Basic understanding of backend development and APIs

• Interest in AI, LLMs, and data-driven products

• Willingness to learn, ask questions, and take feedback

• Able to work onsite in Copenhagen alongside your studies
