As we scale, we are laser-focused on professionalizing our user touchpoints. This role is pivotal to Vivino's evolution from a popular wine app to a fully-fledged global marketplace. You will be the go-to person for critical topics like Conversion Campaigns, Braze & Automation, MAU Growth, and Reactivation Strategy. Your core mission is to orchestrate the "right message, right time" philosophy across all channels—and just as importantly, deciding when not to communicate. You will lead the charge in shifting our setup from manual processes to sophisticated, scalable automation, balancing efforts to maximize revenue impact while protecting our subscriber base.
Furthermore, here is a description of your tasks and responsibilities:
Lead projects designed to increase Monthly Active Users (MAU) and drive purchases. You will develop targeted, value-based communication strategies to reactivate dormant users and deepen engagement with those who have opted in
Take ownership of our technical CRM setup. This includes building new automated journeys, setting up and optimizing the Braze catalogue, and testing new AI functions within the platform
Champion the move from a highly manual setup to a more automated ecosystem. A key project will include managing the migration of transactional emails from SendGrid to Braze
Ensure a cohesive user experience by coordinating messaging across Email, Push, and In-App channels. You will ensure that communication corresponds perfectly to where the user is in their journey
Manage the execution of commerce and premium CRM support, including the handling of weekly automated send-outs
Act as the guardian of our brand voice and visual identity in CRM, ensuring high quality in both design and written content across all templates and campaigns

Furthermore, we would think you can demonstrate the following:
Several years of CRM/Lifecycle Marketing experience, specifically within app-first companies.
Deep proficiency in a customer engagement platform is essential, and Braze is the preferred choice. You have hands-on experience building customer journeys, segments, Canvases, and campaigns. You are comfortable with advanced features such as liquid personalization, in-app messaging, push notifications, webhooks, and APIs.
You have worked across the full customer lifecycle (acquisition, post-purchase, loyalty, and reactivation), designing engagement campaigns that drive retention and value.
Expert knowledge in setting up and optimizing cross-channel automation strategies (Email, Push, In-App, SMS) to ensure a seamless user experience.
You are fluent in data. You can interpret user properties and event-based triggers, use Braze's analytics tools to build reports, and rigorously A/B test to measure and improve campaign performance.
You have a strong discipline in documentation and QA, ensuring that every launch is error-free and that processes are scalable.
