The role

We are hiring a Head of Sales to lead and build the commercial engine of Frankly Insure.

This is a senior, high-impact role where you’ll own the full sales motion end-to-end, with a clear focus on high-value, strategic distribution partnerships rather than high-volume transactional sales. You will work closely with the founders, product, and partnerships teams to shape our go-to-market strategy, secure lighthouse partners, and establish a repeatable commercial playbook that can scale over time.

Early on, the role is highly hands-on. Over time, you will help build and lead the commercial organisation.


What you’ll do

  • Own and execute the full sales cycle: sourcing, qualifying, pitching, negotiating, and closing strategic distribution partnerships

  • Drive complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes with mid-market and enterprise partners

  • Build and manage a focused, high-quality pipeline of lighthouse opportunities

  • Develop commercial strategies aligned with the product roadmap and long-term growth targets

  • Define sales processes, metrics, and reporting suited to longer sales cycles and high-impact deals

  • Work closely with product and tech teams on integrations, commercial structures, and partner onboarding

  • Build and lead the commercial team as the organisation scales

  • Support market expansion by identifying and prioritising the right partners and geographies


What this role is not

This role is intentionally focused and may not be the right fit if you’re looking for:

  • A high-volume SMB or transactional sales environment

  • Short, low-friction sales cycles with quick wins

  • A role where leads, scripts, or playbooks are already defined

  • Managing a large sales team from day one without hands-on execution

  • Selling a simple, one-size-fits-all product without technical or organisational complexity


Instead, this role is for someone who thrives on depth over breadth, takes pride in winning the right deals, and wants to build a commercial motion that compounds over time.


Who you are

You are an experienced commercial operator with a strong background in B2B or B2B2C sales, ideally within SaaS, fintech, platforms, or insurtech. You have led complex, high-value sales processes and are comfortable navigating executive stakeholders, legal frameworks, and technical integrations.

You combine strategic thinking with a hands-on, execution-driven mindset. You thrive in environments where the playbook is not predefined and where judgment, preparation, and prioritisation matter more than volume. You’re energised by ownership, autonomy, and responsibility — and you approach ambiguity with structure, curiosity, and confidence.

You bring commercial sharpness, strong negotiation skills, and the resilience required to move large, meaningful deals from first conversation to signed partnership. You are tech-savvy and comfortable engaging with product architecture and integration details to make embedded insurance work in practice.

You have a track record of achievement and drive. You are exceptional at identifying the right problem and getting it solved.


Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in B2B sales

  • Proven experience selling to mid-market or enterprise partners

  • Strong negotiation skills and a track record of closing complex deals

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a great sense of humor.

  • Native in Danish and fluent in English
