We are searching for a Sales & Business Development Intern / Student Worker who is eager to take ownership and grow in a dynamic startup environment 🚀
In this role, you will play a key role in our expansion across the Nordics, generating new business opportunities and building pipeline within the retail and hospitality market.
This position is ideal for students or early-career professionals who want hands-on sales experience, strong coaching, and a clear path into a commercial career.
Execute high-volume outbound outreach via phone, email, LinkedIn, and events
Minimum 60 outbound calls per day to drive predictable, high-quality pipeline
Research, identify, and engage potential clients within retail and hospitality
Identify key decision-makers and initiate strong first-touch conversations
Understand prospect needs, challenges, and priorities
Qualify opportunities based on business potential
Progress qualified leads to the Account Executive team
Work closely with Account Executives to ensure a seamless handover of qualified meetings
Share insights from outreach to improve targeting, messaging, and conversion rates
Become an expert in Appstract’s value proposition and sales playbook
Stay up to date on industry trends within retail and hospitality
Own your activity metrics, pipeline targets, and weekly sales rhythm
Continuously improve outreach quality, messaging, and conversion rates
Hands-on experience working with a live platform in active growth
Direct mentorship and coaching from the founder and commercial team
Strong foundation in B2B sales, outbound prospecting, and qualification
Exposure to the full startup journey and commercial decision-making

Experience from retail, hospitality, sales, or e-commerce
Outbound Sales Development or Business Development experience

First-hand experience as a frontline retail or hospitality employee
Fluent in Danish and English, both spoken and written
Based in Copenhagen and able to work from our central office
Currently studying or recently graduated (intern or student worker level)
