AI Engineers at Wonderful are experienced builders who go deep on integrations and agentic architectures, and act as the go-to experts for turning complex workflows into robust, production-grade agents.
This role is based on-site in our central Copenhagen office and involves regular work with customers. Depending on the project, you may spend part of the week embedded with a client team.
Build & Deploy Agents: Build, test, and deploy AI agents on the Wonderful platform for enterprise customers.
Prompts + Code: Write and design prompts, and implement the surrounding TypeScript logic and functions that guide AI agents across voice, chat, and email.
Complex Integrations: Design and implement more complex integrations and agentic loops - combining multiple APIs, data sources, and tools to solve non-trivial customer workflows.
Customer Engineering: Collaborate closely with Account / Program Management and enterprise customers to understand needs and existing workflows, and turn them into scalable AI solutions.
Quality & Reliability: Deliver production-ready solutions with proper error handling, logging, and monitoring; adapt quickly to shifting priorities and challenges.
Collaboration with Agent Engineers: Partner with Agent Engineers on day-to-day delivery, helping unblock harder technical problems and spreading best practices.
Education: Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science or a related STEM field.
Language: Excellent English, written and spoken + Native Danish Speaker
Experience: 2–6 years of software development experience (ideally backend or backend-leaning full stack).
Networking & APIs: Strong understanding of networking, HTTP, REST/gRPC APIs, and authentication mechanisms.
Integration Skills: Ability to learn complex customer systems quickly and translate them into technical solutions and robust integrations.
AI & Agentic Workflows: Comfort working with LLMs, prompts, and agentic workflows (prompts + TypeScript + tools); prior AI/ML or LLM experience is a plus.
Mindset: A flexible, problem‑solving mindset with a passion for working under pressure in a customer-facing environment; bonus points for startup experience.
