The role focuses on analysing where and how brands appear across AI systems, identifying opportunities, and turning those insights into practical recommendations for content, structure, and authority.
Analyse AI visibility and answer landscapes
Map how brands are represented across AI-powered systems such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot and AI Overviews.
Analyse prompts, questions, and topics to understand where a brand appears, where it is absent, and which competitors are being cited instead.
Identify patterns in citations, sources, and answer structures that drive visibility, relevance, and trust.
Turn insights into concrete GEO recommendations
Translate AI answer and citation analysis into clear, prioritised actions for content, structure, and authority-building.
Work with content and marketing teams to define “answer-ready” content: clear questions, concise answers, supporting evidence, and structured elements AI systems can reuse.
Recommend structured data, entity improvements, and on-page changes that help AI systems understand and correctly represent a brand.
Bridge SEO, GEO, and AI search
Connect classic SEO learnings (intent, crawlability, structure) with GEO needs (citations, AI answer patterns, entity design).
Collaborate with SEO, content, and product stakeholders on how to evolve from “blue links only” thinking to a combined SEO + GEO approach.
Help define simple frameworks clients can use to think about GEO alongside their existing search and content strategy.
Support clients and internal teams
Prepare clear analyses, summaries, and recommendations that non-specialists can understand and act on.
Join client sessions to explain findings, answer questions, and help prioritise what to do first.
Contribute to internal knowledge: examples, patterns, and play-agnostic frameworks that improve how 3RD works with GEO over time.
Measure and iterate
Use 3RD’s metrics and external tools to track changes in visibility, citations, and brand presence over time.
Help define simple reporting views that connect GEO work to business outcomes (traffic quality, lead quality, trust signals).
Share patterns and learnings back into product and strategy so the overall approach keeps improving.
Have experience in SEO, search strategy, digital marketing, or a related field where you work with data and content together.
Comfortable analysing queries, SERPs/answer surfaces, and content to understand what is really going on – not just looking at a single metric.
Curious about how AI systems choose sources and structure answers, and motivated to stay close to this fast-moving area.
Able to explain complex findings in clear, simple language to people who are not specialists.
Structured and organised – good at prioritising, documenting, and keeping multiple client or internal workstreams moving.
Comfortable working in English; additional European languages are a plus, not a requirement.
