At Spirii, we are more than a company; we are a community driving the future of mobility with curiosity, connectedness, and courage.
We stay humble, human, and collaborative. We respect each other and help everyone grow.
We are now looking for a People Operations Manager who brings both heart and structure to our People function.
Someone who thrives in a scale-up where no two days are the same, cares deeply about people, and knows how to build strong, compliant, and scalable HR processes.
You will report directly to our Director of People and work closely with Finance, Legal, IT, and managers across the business. This is a central role in building our next phase of growth, both in Denmark and across international markets.
We are currently a team of 200+ people across multiple countries, and continuing to grow steadily as we expand our international presence.
You will own and run our People Operations engine with care, speed, and structure — helping us scale with clarity, compliance, and a human touch.
Employee Lifecycle & HR Operations
Manage all People processes: onboarding, offboarding, contracts, changes, parental/sick leave, and more
Act as superuser for BambooHR, Deel, Notion — maintain clean systems and smooth workflows
Create and maintain documentation: onboarding guides, templates, policies, manager resources
Provide day-to-day support to employees and managers on People-related topics
Compliance & Local Legislation
Ensure we comply with Danish employment law (contracts, working time, leaves, etc.)
Handle all processes on Virk.dk, NemRefusion, and other relevant portals
Support cross-border compliance in collaboration with our EOR partner (Deel)
Coordinate employee registrations, relocations, and contract changes across markets
Culture, Performance & People Support
Support performance reviews, engagement surveys, people data reporting, and recognition processes
Act as a partner to managers to guide them through People processes
Balance care and structure while helping build a strong culture across teams
Payroll, Benefits & Legal Support
Work closely with Finance and Legal to manage payroll inputs, pension schemes, employment changes, audits, and benefits setup
Support documentation and admin for bonuses, salary adjustments, and time registration
Bonus
While recruitment is not part of this role, it is a plus if you have knowledge of full-cycle recruitment or coordination — this helps you better understand the full People function and collaborate with our Talent Acquisition team when needed
You are structured, proactive, and confident working in an environment where things move fast and processes are still evolving. You have strong integrity, ownership, and care deeply about the people behind the systems.
5+ years of experience in People Operations, HR, or People & Culture
Experience in a scale-up or high-growth company
Deep knowledge of Danish employment legislation, HR compliance, and legal HR processes
Hands-on experience with Virk.dk, NemRefusion, and employee registration flows
Comfortable working with payroll inputs, collaborating with Finance, and understanding local benefits
Strong system skills: BambooHR, Deel, Notion, Workday, or similar tools
Fluent in English (Danish is a strong plus)
Excellent attention to detail and documentation habits
High level of discretion, confidentiality, and judgment when handling sensitive employee information
You enjoy building — not just maintaining — and are not afraid to test, improve, and document as you go
You are confident setting priorities independently, pushing back when needed, and always communicating with clarity and care
Nice to have, not required: Experience in recruitment coordination or hiring processes
