About Us

Savery is recruiting a part-time backend developer with strong capabilities in building and maintaining robust backend systems utilising LLMs to support our core product. As a backend developer, you will lead the coding of the Savery Agentic Management tool.

This is initially a part-time, remote role with the flexibility to work from Copenhagen should you wish so. If you require a on-location job, you will not be considered for the position.

You are an experienced problem solver with a passion for backend development and a growth mindset. As an expert in Python, you have a deep understanding of FastAPI and experience working with managed services like Google Cloud, AWS, and Azure. You excel in designing, developing, and maintaining efficient database architectures, and you have a proven track record of identifying and resolving complex technical issues.

You thrive on ownership, taking the lead in designing and implementing solutions that ensure scalability, reliability, and efficiency. Your proactive approach and commitment to excellence will be vital in maintaining the high standards of Savery’s platform.

Role Overview

We are seeking a lead Backend Developer to join Savery and contribute to the technical backbone of Savery’s innovative platform. LLM expertise is a requirement, and a deep interest in LLMs and understanding of sophisticated LLM prompt engineering is an added strength.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize backend systems to power Savery’s core platform.

• Develop scalable, secure cloud infrastructure using Google Cloud

• Design and implement efficient backend services and APIs with Python and FastAPI.

• Automate infrastructure deployments with Terraform.

• Work on database design with a focus on performance and scalability.

• Work closely with I engineers to integrate backend systems with LLM functionalities.

• Debug and resolve technical challenges to ensure platform reliability.

Requirements

• Proven experience developing with Python.

• Solid experience of one or more cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure).

• Experience with FastAPI for building APIs.

• Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure as code.

• Hands-on experience with Docker for containerized application deployment.

• Strong understanding of database design.

• Interest in LLM technologies and enthusiasm for learning more about their applications.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative startup environment.
