We’re hiring a VP of Technology with CTO potential to lead & grow our tech organisation of 24 employees, nurture our culture, and keep our code as strong as the food experiences we power. We are operating on global scale with more than 4000 different locations across 14 countries and with multiple modules (app, admin, pos etc.), prioritizing and managing the complexity is a key challenge.

With our recent fundraising (total of +€10M raised), a great European market position, first US clients & a team of 55 rockstars, we are in a great position to scale even further.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced tech leader that is extremely talented and ready to take the next step in their career - and lead and grow our tech & product organisation of 24 people today with the expectation of grow to by +100 employees within the next 3-4 years.

You’ll report directly to our CEO & lead both how the department is structured and where our platform is headed, owning the big-picture technical vision while keeping a fingertip on the code.

Most days you’ll focus on empowering others: giving our engineers the structure and vision they need to move fast and succeed. Working side-by-side with Product, Design, and the Management team, you’ll be the advocate of the tech team that turns company goals & our product vision into clear technical priorities and vice versa.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Own the technical vision & architecture. Set a scalable, secure foundation that matches our ambition.
• Build exceptional teams. Hire great people, set a high bar, and foster a culture of trust, ownership, and clear performance expectations.
• Raise the standard of execution. Improve how we plan, build, and ship—using best practices, modern tooling, and AI to accelerate impact.
• Align the business. Be Engineering’s voice at the exec table, translate trade-offs, drive alignment with Product/Design/Go-to-Market, and communicate progress.
• Lead hands-on where it counts. Dive into reviews, prototypes, and critical incidents to model excellence and unblock teams.
  

What You Bring

• Proven scale-up leadership - Multiple years of experience guiding engineering teams through rapid growth in SaaS or product-led tech.
• Credible technical depth in modern web stacks (TypeScript/JavaScript, cloud-native, CI/CD).
• Track record of building great product with high-performing teams including hiring, coaching, and running career frameworks.
• Empathetic communicator who can advocate for engineers while translating impact to business stakeholders.
• You know when to move fast and when to invest in solid foundations.
