Donkey Republic is looking for an HR Operations Partner located in our HQ in Copenhagen. This is not a traditional corporate HR position. We are looking for a true "builder"—someone excited to develop and implement new, smarter ways of working within our people function. You will thrive in our fast-paced, scale-up environment where you have the autonomy to build from the ground up and make an immediate impact (no red tape).
HR Process & Tech Architecture: Architect our HR operational backbone, designing and automating people processes with a pragmatic, data-driven, and "builder" mindset.
Process Automation & Improvement: Lead HR process re-engineering for scalability and efficiency, with a strong bias for automation. Support automation initiatives across the wider organization.
Design, build, and maintain a scalable central employee database and 'single source of truth' across European operations, leveraging existing low-cost, robust solutions.
Map and re-engineer the entire employee journey (pre-boarding to offboarding), automating tasks (e.g., light scripting, Zapier, no-code/low-code tools) to minimize manual data entry.
Develop data-driven HR dashboards and reports (spreadsheets or simple BI tools) for actionable insights on headcount, attrition, and other key people metrics.
Act as the internal expert on leveraging modern AI tools (e.g., generative AI) to boost HR productivity in areas like communication, policy drafting, and data summarization.
HR Project Execution: Independently or with a senior leader, drive and execute HR projects, including process design for:
Onboarding/Offboarding
Data Management & Tooling
People Development & Employee Experience
Yearly HR cycle development
Employee Lifecycle & Support: Provide strategic guidance and oversight on the employee lifecycle. Act as a go-to for complex employee matters and legal questions.
Policy & Compliance: Keep people policies and procedures up-to-date with local laws and develop them as needed.
Internal Communication: Create, update, and coordinate internal communications to support and streamline HR initiatives.
Pragmatic Tech & Tooling: Lead the optimization, integration, and administration of our core tech stack. Act as the central owner and administrator for Google Workspace (G Suite), managing user accounts, security, and shared resources. Champion its optimization across all departments and evaluate new low-cost tools only when internal solutions are not efficient.
Hiring & workforce planning: Support recruitment and workforce planning aligned with business needs.
Provide ad hoc support on building and executing people-related initiatives.
Conduct ad hoc audits of HR software tool ecosystems.
Support the HR Generalist with office operations and social events as needed.
Highly skilled in business tools (Google Sheets, Excel) for building scalable processes from scratch.
Proven experience in automating HR and business processes using no-code/low-code tools (Zapier, Make) or scripting.
Strong track record in HR Operations or tech-focused HRBP roles, demonstrating process improvement and project management.
Data-driven, analytical mindset, focusing on measurable impact.
Practical literacy and interest in AI for workplace efficiency.
Proficient in English and Danish, with good knowledge of Danish labor law.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships and training stakeholders.
