What You Will Do

As we look ahead, Data and AI will be core to our long-term success. We’re building a next-generation Data Platform to deliver scalable pipelines, real-time analytics, and AI-driven insights across our product suite.

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer to play a key role in shaping and advancing our Data Engineering function, contributing to its strategy and technical direction.

Based in Oslo, you’ll join our world-class Platform and Tech team, combining strategic thinking with hands-on technical expertise. In this role, you will:

• Design, develop, and maintain Attensi’s Data Platform and data products that power visualization and AI use cases
• Drive performance and scalability of data pipelines to support real-time analytics and AI-driven insights
• Collaborate and innovate with top developers across Platform and Product teams, accelerating your technical growth
• Mentor and support new data engineering talent, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation

Who You Are

You have 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, combining a pragmatic mindset with the ambition to help shape the development and direction of our Data Platform. You’re not just a builder; you’re a collaborator who thrives on sharing knowledge and shaping how data drives value for our customers.

If you have experience managing streaming pipelines in production, we definitely want to hear from you!

You will likely have a good foundation in Data Engineering fundamentals including:

• Streaming pipelines (e.g., Apache Flink, AWS MSK/Kafka, Debezium, ClickHouse, ElasticSearch)
• Batch pipelines (e.g., AWS Glue, Apache Spark, Python, Scala)
• OLTP systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, CockroachDB)
• Semi-structured data (e.g., MongoDB, DocumentDB, DynamoDB)
• Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
• Containerized development & CI/CD (e.g., Git, Docker, Helm, Kubernetes)
• Cloud-based development (AWS preferred)

Bonus Points If You Have Experience With:

• LLM applications and agents (e.g., LangChain, CrewAI, Flowise, DSpy)
• API development and services (e.g., GraphQL, Hasura, Flask, Django, FastAPI)
• OLAP and data warehousing (e.g., Redshift, Snowflake, ClickHouse, BigQuery)
