Your role is unique and within a department responsible for technical and organizational security, compliance, internal IT, governance, and risk management.
You will play an active role in IT Operations, Security Operations, Employee Operations, Policy Management, Organizational Governance, Personnel Training, Risk Assessment & Management, Business Continuity, Internal Compliance & Audits.
This role requires hardware and software IT competencies, interest in security & compliance, attention to detail, ability to structure and organize data, and most importantly a desire to learn and improve your skills within the domains of corporate IT, security, governance, risk, and compliance.
The role requires 15-20 hours per week and is an on-site job.
You’ll be a wide variety of tasks including purchasing and setting up employee devices, updating security & compliance policies, performing due diligence and yearly reviews/updates of supplier documentation, troubleshooting WiFi network/software issues reported by employees, assisting with SOC 2 / GDPR / ISO 27001 audits, creating AI automation workflows, acting as system administrator to support with employee requests, and much more.
We don’t expect you to be an expert in all areas of team’s mission yet. You will be given support as needed, and you will be empowered and trusted to learn and improve your skills.
You are a Master student or similar that is interested in a part-time role with a possibility for full-time hiring in the coming year or so.
You are technically adept and have IT experience from previous jobs or hobbies/personal interests.
You are highly proficient in English
You have a drive to learn about a broad variety of IT, security, and GRC requirements and standard practices
You have good proofreading skills, catching both trivial mistakes and holistic inconsistencies
You aren’t afraid to take ownership of processes and activities
You take pride in ensuring data accuracy and consistency across multiple sources
You want to harness AI tools to improve efficiency and make internal processes smoother
Instead of dwelling on problems, you are solution-oriented and have a positive, go-getter attitude
