Sisters In Startup is a platform built to close the gender gap in entrepreneurship. Our mission is to empower women by bridging the gap between their entrepreneurial ambitions and the opportunities needed to succeed.
Too many women with great ideas never make it past the early stages of their business because they lack access to funding, community, or guidance. We’re here to change that.
SIS is building a digital platform where women founders can access practical tools, resources, and mentorship — everything from funding guides and strategy templates to community-driven learning and inspiration. We aim to become the go-to space for women starting and scaling their businesses across Europe.
We’re currently in development and preparing for our first launch phase in 2025 — backed by early partnerships, pilot users, and strong momentum in the Danish startup ecosystem.
We’re looking for a co-founder who’s passionate about impact, entrepreneurship, and building digital products that truly make a difference.
You’ll be joining founder Mathilde Gylstorff, who brings a background in startup strategy, branding, and funding. Together, we’ll shape SIS into a scalable platform and strong brand that helps thousands of women founders grow their ideas into sustainable ventures.
Your exact focus will depend on your strengths — but we’re especially interested in profiles with experience in tech, product, or community growth.
You’ll help:
Develop and refine the SIS platform (from MVP to scalable version)
Co-create the product roadmap and oversee UX/UI development
Drive early user testing and feedback loops
Contribute to funding strategy, partnerships, and investor readiness
Shape the SIS community and storytelling as a visible face of the brand
This is a hands-on role where you’ll have freedom, responsibility, and the opportunity to influence everything from product to strategy.
You might be a developer, product designer, growth strategist, or impact-driven entrepreneur — but most importantly, you:
Are excited about creating something from the ground up
Thrive in fast-moving environments and love to build
Have a genuine passion for gender equality and entrepreneurship
Understand digital products (no-code, tech stack, or user experience)
Want to be part of a purpose-driven, ambitious startup
Experience in early-stage startups or digital platforms is a big plus — but mindset and drive matter most.
A co-founder role with equity (details discussed individually)
The chance to shape a high-impact company from day one
Close collaboration with an experienced founder and startup network
A flexible, remote-friendly setup (Copenhagen preferred but not required)
The opportunity to build a product that creates real change for women founders everywhere
If this sounds like you, reach out and tell us why you’d love to join Sisters In Startup. Let’s make the startup world more equal — together.
