Operations (Participant Experience Design)

The Operations team is the soul of the hackathon. You’ll craft the participant experience—designing workshops, coordinating mentors and speakers, recruiting judges, and ensuring that every moment of RoyalHacks inspires creativity and collaboration.


Key Responsibilities

  • Organize workshops, talks, and mentorship sessions

  • Recruit and coordinate mentors, judges, and speakers

  • Plan the participant journey and ensure a great on-site experience

  • Work with Logistics, Marketing, and Sponsorship teams to align schedules


We're looking for

  • Empathetic and organized communicators

  • Interest in event management or education

  • Team players who thrive on collaboration and structure

  • No prior experience required—just enthusiasm and initiative

  • October-March: 3-5 h/week (hybrid of remote & on-location, depending on your team’s internal agreements)
