Backend Developer (AI Focus)

About the role At Comeply, we’re on a mission to revolutionize how companies navigate complex regulatory landscapes. As our new Backend Developer with a strong focus on AI, you’ll play a central role in building and scaling the technology behind our compliance platform.

You’ll work on everything from integrating cutting-edge AI into our backend stack, to improving retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines, experimenting with agentic AI, and optimizing overall backend architecture. This role isn’t about maintaining legacy code – it’s about shaping the future of compliance technology.

What we’re looking for We’re looking for a developer who:

Has solid experience with backend development (preferably in C#/.NET or similar enterprise-grade environments).
Is excited about AI and has hands-on experience (or strong curiosity) with integrating AI services, RAG architectures, NLP, or related technologies.
Thrives in an early-stage startup environment where responsibility and ownership come naturally.
Has the confidence (or ambition) to push boundaries, experiment, and turn ideas into reality.
Bonus if you’re curious about compliance, pharma, or life sciences – but more important is your willingness to dive into our domain.
