BuddyUp Social is a new app built in Denmark, helping people connect through hobbies, interests, and events. Whether you’ve just moved to a city, want to expand your social circle, or simply try something new, BuddyUp makes it easier to find your people and experiences.
We’ve just re-launched in Denmark, building momentum through partnerships, social campaigns, and beta users. Our next big step is establishing Top of Mind Awareness so that when people think “I want to meet new people or find events” — BuddyUp Social is the first name they recall.
We’re looking for a creative, data-driven, and ambitious Growth Marketing Manager to join our founding team at this early stage. This is currently an unpaid role, with the potential to discuss equity as we grow. You’ll play a critical role in building our brand presence and awareness, shaping how BuddyUp Social is discovered, remembered, and loved.
Work closely with the founding team and our social media volunteer to shape and execute BuddyUp’s growth marketing strategy across SEO, social, PR, content, and partnerships.
Co-create and lead content campaigns that position BuddyUp as the go-to app for hobbies, socializing, and events.
Drive SEO and discoverability, ensuring BuddyUp shows up where our audience is already searching.
Collaborate on and launch brand awareness initiatives across both digital and offline channels.
Identify, engage, and activate early adopters and social influencers to build momentum, community, and word-of-mouth growth.
Track and analyze performance — from engagement to brand awareness — and turn insights into action.
Partner with the founders to define and refine BuddyUp’s voice, positioning, and user experience touchpoints.
Experience (or strong interest) in growth marketing, digital marketing, or brand management.
A strategic thinker with hands-on execution skills — ready to test, learn, and iterate.
Strong communicator with creativity and a feel for storytelling.
Knowledge of SEO, content marketing, and social campaigns is a big plus.
