Birdie is looking for a Student Assistant (Embedded Engineer) who’s excited to get their hands dirty with both hardware and firmware. At Birdie you’ll be part of the ride from first sketches to mass production. You’ll get hands-on insight into how products are built, and help shape them along the way.
Think of it as the perfect mix of learning, experimenting and building products that matter in the real world. And hey, you won’t be doing it alone. You’ll be part of a small, supportive team that knows how to make things happen.
Contribute to component selection, designing schematics, and laying out PCBs
Support the development of embedded software for microcontrollers
Assist with debugging, testing, and optimization of both hardware and firmware
Team up with suppliers, mechanical designers, and external hardware and firmware engineers.
You’re studying Electrical Engineering or something closely related
You know (or want to know) your way around programming in C/C++
You’ve got a basic understanding of hardware design (schematics + PCB)
You’re curious, structured, and up for learning new things
If you happen to geek out on sensor technology, wireless communication and smart home gadgets, we’d love that too.
Please share your CV and portfolio when applying.
