What we expect

• Proficient in or knowledge of front-end technologies like Next.js, TypeScript, GraphQL, Visx and, on the back-end, NodeJS in TypeScript, Go, Postgres and Docker.

• A strong technical foundation from high-caliber tech or product teams

• Expert-level knowledge of TypeScript

• Deep understanding of SQL and relational databases

• Production experience with JavaScript component-based frameworks and Node.js.

• Experience making architectural decisions and driving technical direction

• Security-conscious mindset. We are SOC-2 compliant

What you will do at Zoios

• Code extensively and develop new features end-to-end while maintaining a healthy, and sustainable codebase across the front and back end.

• Troubleshoot complex issues and architect solutions for scalability and performance.

• Set technical standards through excellent code, reviews and a pragmatic adherence to best practices.

• Share product strategy by participating in all major product decisions alongside the founders and our product design lead.

• Drive major technical decisions across the platform.

• Ensure platform security and compliance with enterprise requirements.

The product team

As Lead Software Engineer, you will become the technical leader of our dedicated and passionate Product team consisting of a Product manager, a Product designer, and additional engineering talent. You will be the primary technical decision-maker, working hands-on in the codebase while driving architectural direction. You'll be in close contact with the PM and product designer on technical discovery, scoping, and product strategy. We will make sure you have the necessary setup and conditions you need to do great work, and with that you will have significant freedom to take responsibility and drive technical development.
