As our Business Development Assistant, you’ll support growth with depots, partners, and resellers (charging providers). You will own the conference calendar, drive market insights into action, and coordinate partner-related operations. This role sits at the intersection of business development, marketing, and partner management, helping us scale efficiently while keeping communication sharp and strategy aligned. 

You’ll report directly to our COO & Co-Founder, Jan Köster, and work closely with the Sales and Marketing team. 

 

📌 What you’ll actually do 

  • Plan and manage industry conferences relevant to depots and partners. 

  • Analyse markets and develop go-to-market strategies for depots and partners. 

  • Research and identify Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) leads within depots and partner networks. 

  • Build organisational maps, outreach strategies, and tactical “battle plans” for depots and partner acquisition. 

  • Directly manage partner accounts and enable them to boost FLEXECHARGE’s growth. 

  • Coordinate and support partner/reseller events, including webinars, fairs, and training. 

  • Create and adapt slides and supporting materials for sales and partner initiatives. 

  • Help define and optimise partner and reseller related processes, ensuring scalable and efficient operations. 

 

đŸ‘„ The team you’ll join  You’ll be part of the Business Development Team, led by our Co-Founder & CCO, Jan. The team is responsible for driving FLEXECHARGE’s market expansion and partnerships: 


  • New Vertical Expansion: Identify and evaluate opportunities in emerging verticals (e.g., commercial depots, logistics hubs, fleet operators). Validate product-market fit and build go-to-market strategies in close collaboration with Product and Sales. 

  • New Countries Expansion: Lead market entry initiatives in new countries, including market sizing, regulatory research, partner identification, and establishing local sales and operational foundations. 

  • Partnership Development: Build and manage strategic relationships with key partners (infrastructure providers, CPMS, OEMs, CSPs) that accelerate market entry or unlock new growth levers. 

  • Pilot Design & Early Sales: Work closely with early adopter customers to scope pilot projects that validate both commercial and technical readiness in new markets. 

 

🙋 Who you are 

  • You hold a technical bachelor or a technical foundation combined with a digital/commercial master and have 1–2 years until you finish your studies. 

  • You’re energetic and self-driven. 

  • You’re structured and organized — planning, Excel, and keeping an overview come naturally to you. 

  • You have a digital mindset and enjoy using tools, AI, and automation to work smarter. 

  • You feel confident in dialogue with partners and customers. You enjoy building connections and communicating clearly. 

  • You’re fluent in English; German is a plus.
