We’re looking for a talented Full-Stack Developer to work on exciting projects using technologies like TypeScript, NextJS, NestJS, and AI. If you love collaborating, solving problems, and building innovative products, this is the role for you!

This is a full-time, on-site role at our Copenhagen office. We are unable to offer full remote work or relocation assistance.

Who we are

Kvalifik is a digital agency based in Copenhagen, made up of 18 curious, data-driven creators with expertise in software development, design, and business development.

We help our clients build and launch first-class digital products and services from wireframes and design, to development with automated testing, and user testing. And we’re looking for another sharp mind to help our clients fly into the future.

Our current stack includes JavaScript (TypeScript) across both frontend and backend with Next.js (React) and NestJS (Node.js). For styling, we primarily use TailwindCSS and ChakraUI, and PostgreSQL as our main database. We always work with Docker, Git, and GitHub Actions. When building apps, we use React Native, and when it’s the right fit, we also leverage no-code and low-code tools like Webflow.

Our work is project-based, typically lasting from a few weeks to half a year. We work according to agile principles, and we have strong values that guide us – you can read more about them in our manifesto (kvalifik.dk/about-us)

We collaborate with ambitious entrepreneurs creating something new, NGOs working for a better world, and CTO's, in large organizations who need to get things done. Our clients include Danica, Mikkeller, Solar, Veo, and a wide range of international startups.

What you will do

As a Full-Stack Developer at Kvalifik, you will:

• Develop and maintain digital products for our clients, building complex features and ensuring code quality through best practices.

• Work across the full technology stack, contributing to both frontend and backend development.

• Lead and participate in technical discussions and contribute to architectural decisions.

• Implement automated testing and continuously improve QA processes.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with designers, product managers, and clients to translate requirements into technical solutions.

• Take ownership of project components, ensuring efficient execution and timely delivery.

• Mentor other developers, share knowledge, and help improve team workflows.

• Identify risks, optimize performance, and suggest solutions to technical challenges.

• Contribute to process improvements, making our agile development methods more scalable and efficient.

Your Skills

As a Full-Stack developer at Kvalifik you should have experience with the following technologies:

• TypeScript: Solid understanding of building applications with a TypeScript-first approach.

• AI coding tools: Familiarity with modern AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar).

• Frameworks: Hands-on experience with NestJS, Express, NextJS, React or similar frameworks in the Node.js eco-system. Knowledge of React Native is a big plus.

• Database Management: Experience with RDB and some knowledge of NoSQL databases like MongoDB.

• Cloud Technologies: Some knowledge of major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) and deployment tools like Vercel.

• Version Control: Experience with Git and collaborative workflows (branches, pull requests, code review).

• Testing: Experience with or an eagerness to apply automated testing practices.

Bonus Skills:

Danish language skills, experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Terraform, ORM-systems, or AI/ML technologies would be a plus but is not required.
