Djøf Forlag is looking for an experienced Software Engineer for Jurabibliotek

At Djøf Forlag's Jurabibliotek, we build legal tech solutions to Danish law firms and public authorities. We are seeking an additional skilled developer who can tackle the heavy backend tasks within legal tech.

We are looking for an ambitious full stack developer who thrives on solving hands-on challenges in our digital development team. We work in a customer-oriented manner on our own platform with our own content, which is used by more than 6,000 users.

Your tasks

• Develop and maintain backend functionality

• Build and expand our APIs and data models

• Handle new types of content (typically text-based content in legal formats)

• Perform minor front-end tasks in collaboration with front-end colleagues

• Work closely with our small group of talented Danish and English-speaking team members

Your profile

• You should be comfortable with primarily backend

• You should have several years of hands-on experience with web development

• You can code in (or quickly learn): Python, Django, SQL, JavaScript

• You are experienced within frontend frameworks such as Svelte, React, or Angular

We expect that

• You call yourself 'full stack' – and you mean it

• You are used to working with open-source technologies

• You are not an architect or middle manager – you love building and debugging

• You can communicate effectively in both spoken and written English
