Planetary Impact Ventures is an evergreen fund investing in companies dedicated to create long-term solutions within planetary boundaries. Our focus is on transforming the food system —supporting entrepreneurs who combine ecological regeneration with viable business models. Founded in 2020 with 40m DKK AUM, we’ve since grown to +160m DKK with an intention for continuously organic growth.
We are now seeking an Investment Manager / Senior Investment Manager to lead investment processes from sourcing through portfolio management, working closely with Investment Director Morten Koefoed and the Planetary Investment Committee.
Source and screen opportunities aligned with the Planetary investment thesis and guiding principles.
Conduct due diligence and prepare investment proposals for the Planetary Investment Committee.
Represent Planetary on portfolio company boards, supporting strategy and business development processes as well as safeguarding alignment with the impact case.
Apply holistic evaluation to people, ideas, and business models—identifying solutions that are both commercially viable and ecologically sound.
Prior experience within investing, consulting, or senior roles in early-stage startups.
Strong analytical, financial, and communication skills.
Passion for sustainability and regeneration.
Self-organizing and comfortable in a small, flexible team.
Location: Humlebæk, 30 minutes north of Copenhagen, on an organic farm. Flexible mix of office and remote work.
Compensation: Planetary is still a young fund manager, and the salary is below market rates. We expect compensation to improve as the fund size increases.
