Our platform enables businesses to optimise charging operations, reduce costs, and enhance grid efficiency. As we expand our footprint, we’re looking for a strategic and results-driven Business Development Manager to build and strengthen relationships with key enterprise customers.
As a Business Development Manager, you will hands-on drive revenue growth by developing and managing relationships with large enterprise customers. You’ll oversee the full sales cycle, from initial engagement to account expansion, ensuring a seamless customer experience. In this role your strategic thinking, consultative selling, and strong relationship management as well as ability to facilitate cross-functional collaboration will be crucial in driving customer satisfaction and business growth.
Account Management & Growth: Develop and maintain strong relationships with enterprise customers, ensuring their ongoing success and their expansion by driving Flexecharge’s solutions adoption.
Sales & Revenue Generation: Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualifying leads to closing high-value prospects.
Solution Selling: Act as a trusted advisor, educating clients on how Flexecharge’s energy management solutions can improve their EV charging infrastructure.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.
Market Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in the EV charging space.
CRM: Maintain and update Hubspot with accurate customer data, sales activities, and pipeline status and assist in preparing sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses.
Process: Develop and improve the sales processes to enhance efficiency and customer engagement.
Two to five years experience in enterprise sales or account management, within EV charging, energy management, or a related industry.
Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills with experience in complex, solution-based sales.
Ability to build and nurture long-term client relationships at multiple levels within an organisation.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Experience with HubSpot and data-driven sales approaches.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities.
Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-growing, innovative, startup environment.
Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and a proactive approach.
Willingness to travel as needed (fairs, conference, customer visits)
Familiarity with the EV charging or energy industry is requirement.
