UX/UI Designer 

At athme, we’re not just building an app, we’re creating a movement. 

A movement to get people moving again, connecting through real-world sports, and building local communities through play. And now, we’re looking for a UX/UI Designer who wants to grow with us. 

This role has a clear path to full-time employment as soon as funding is secured, and you’ll be eligible for our Employee Equity Pool. If you’ve ever wanted to own part of the product you help design, this is your moment. 

WHAT YOU'LL DO 

• Collaborate closely with product and engineering to create clean, intuitive user flows for our mobile platform.

• Turn user needs and behaviors into wireframes, prototypes, and polished interfaces. 

• Develop and maintain a design system that keeps everything consistent and scalable. 

• Prototype, test, and refine ideas based on real feedback. 

• Have a direct impact on the way people discover and join sports communities in real life. 

WHAT YOU BRING 

• 1–3 years of experience designing digital products (internships, freelance, or in-house). 

• Portfolio that demonstrates thoughtful UX decisions and strong mobile UI execution. 

• Fluency in tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or similar. 

• Comfort with fast feedback loops and iteration. 

• Proactive attitude, you bring ideas, not just tasks. 

• Bonus: You’ve worked in a fast-moving team or startup before and know how to adapt.
