Customer Success Associate

Salary DKK 23,000 - DKK 25,000

We work together at our central office in Aarhus (Søren Frichs Vej) to build teamwork and connection.

Remote/hybrid work is not an option for this position.

This role is not entry-level — we’re looking for someone with relevant customer-facing experience who can get up to speed quickly.

Would you like to smile on rainy days?

As Customer Success Associate in Dripdrop, you’ll play a key part in putting an untraditional eco-friendly Danish rain tech startup on the map. Dripdrop is the leading hotel umbrella service in the world. Our customer- base primarily consists of the biggest and most recognized brands such as: Radisson, Hilton, Marriott, Scandic and so on. Before you know it, Dripdrop will be a standard service offering on most hotels. The road to that is paved with building a highly skilled and extremely customer focused team.

About the role

At Dripdrop, we believe in a smarter, more sustainable way to share everyday essentials. Our umbrellas are made from recycled materials, and our circular model helps cities, venues, and people reduce waste while staying dry. As a Customer Success Associate, you’ll be on the frontlines of that mission — making sure our users and partners have an exceptional experience at every touchpoint.

This is not just a support role. It’s a hands-on, high-impact position where you’ll take ownership of day-to-day interactions while helping us shape the future of customer success as we scale.

You’ll be:

  • Handling email and phone requests with care and clarity.

  • Responding to around 20 support tickets/day through Zendesk — assigning, tracking, and ensuring everything is handled on time.

  • Using Pipedrive to manage and follow up on partner relationships.

  • Supporting with the technical side of our service operations — don’t worry, we’ll give you all the onboarding and training you need.

  • 1–2x per month testing in our production facility in Risskov.

You’ll work closely with our Customer Success Manager, Anne Eickenberg, and be part of a 6-person team. We move fast, support each other, and believe in getting better every day.

What sets this role apart? You’ll also get a chance to go on service trips across Europe to support our partners in person — whether it's installing new units, resolving issues, training staff, or building long-term relationships. It’s a chance to see the impact of your work first-hand, in real city environments.

What You Bring

👉 This is not an entry-level role, so we expect you to bring hands-on experience and confidence in handling customers from day one.

  • A genuine drive to be helpful — you're motivated by solving problems and making someone's day better.

  • A structured mindset — you're able to prioritize tasks, manage your time, and keep the bigger picture in mind even when things get busy.

  • Experience working with customers — whether through customer service, support, or the hospitality industry.

  • A desire to work in a small, ambitious, and friendly startup team — you enjoy collaboration, but you’re also confident working independently and taking initiative.

  • A mindset for personal and professional growth — you want to develop your skills as the company scales, not just perform a fixed set of tasks.

  • Curiosity and eagerness to understand our product and technology — no technical background required, just a willingness to learn.

This role offers the chance to grow with a purpose-driven company that’s expanding across Europe and beyond.

Who are we?

Dripdrop is the leading umbrella solution subscription service. We work with 1500 hotels and offices throughout the EU & UK, planning to expand to the US.

Every time someone uses a Dripdrop umbrella — made from recycled plastic — we donate to plant trees. We're close to hitting 1,000,000 trees with Eden and Rainforest Initiative. Next up: teaming up with rePurpose Global to tackle the plastic crisis — because every umbrella should make a difference.

Intentionally International. We know that non-Danes have a disadvantage in the job market, but we don’t understand why. Dripdrop is intentionally an international team, serving a global audience of customers. Our work language is English, our social language is laughter.

Small, but growing, team of ~25 people = Responsibility, influence, and quick changes.

We work together at our central office in Aarhus (Søren Frichs Vej) to build teamwork and connection.

Remote work is not an option for this position.

Working at
Dripdrop

Dripdrop is a tech company helping the world’s best hotels offer stylish, eco-friendly umbrellas to their guests and in doing so, we’re disrupting the built-to-break culture. Most products today are designed to fail so companies can sell more. We do the opposite. Our umbrellas are built to last, to be shared, and to be repaired. The longer they stay in use, the better it is for both the planet and our business. That’s the kind of circular thinking we believe should shape the future. Hotels usually spend surprising amounts of time and resources managing umbrellas on rainy days. Guests just want to stay dry and that’s where we come in. Dripdrop automates the whole experience, making it simple, reliable, and fun instead of stressful. We’re already in more than 1,500 hotels across 25 countries, including Scandic, Radisson, Marriott, and Hilton and growing fast. At Dripdrop, we believe that great companies are built by people who grow together. We value curiosity, courage, and collaboration more than titles or hierarchy. We’re a team of 24 people from across the world, Brazil, Denmark, the US, Slovakia, the Netherlands, Romania, Italy, Lithuania, Sweden, Hungary, Marocco, UK, Poland, Russia, Chile, Croatia and Iceland, united by a shared goal of doing meaningful work with a smile on our faces. Every second week is a 4-day work week, giving everyone time to recharge and stay inspired. We believe in individual freedom with collective responsibility. We celebrate progress, not perfection. And we’re constantly evolving, because standing still is the fastest way to fall behind. If you want to help change how products are made, shared, and valued, Dripdrop might be your next adventure.
