We are looking for a Chief Sales Officer (CSO) who's role will be to grow and scale SLASHPLAY on a promising startup journey. This equity-only co-founder position is for someone ready to own our entire sales strategy and turn our proven product into a global gaming phenomenon.
Drive explosive growth in our gaming software product across global markets, transforming our existing traction into a dominant force in the game server industry
Build and execute B2B and B2C sales strategies to scale from current recurring revenue to profitability, with a focus on converting gaming communities into loyal customers
Develop strategic partnerships that amplify our reach in the gaming community, identifying key influencers, platforms, and organizations that can accelerate our growth
Take full ownership of sales operations and growth initiatives, from setting ambitious targets to building the processes and teams needed to achieve them
Work directly with our technical team to translate complex product capabilities into compelling sales narratives that resonate with both enterprise clients and individual gamers
Establish SLASHPLAY as the go-to game server solution for gamers worldwide, positioning us as the industry standard for CS2, Minecraft, CS1.6, and CCS communities
Proven sales professional with experience in SaaS, gaming, or tech products, with a track record of exceeding targets and building sustainable revenue streams
Passionate gamer who understands our ecosystem and can speak authentically to the CS2, Minecraft, CS1.6, or CCS communities
Startup-minded individual who thrives in ambiguity, can turn ambitious ideas into measurable results, and treats opportunities like your own business
Natural relationship builder comfortable with both B2B enterprise sales and B2C community engagement, seamlessly switching between different audiences
Hungry and ambitious self-starter ready to take on significant responsibility for massive growth as a co-founder rather than an employee
Based in or near Copenhagen with fluent English skills, ready to build strong local and international relationships
Deep knowledge of online gaming communities, especially Discord, and experience growing and monetizing digital communities
Track record of scaling products from early traction to significant growth in the gaming or SaaS space
Existing network within the gaming industry, including streamers, tournament organizers, or gaming platform contacts
Experience with game server hosting or technical understanding of our supported games (CS2, Minecraft, CS1.6, CCS)
Previous startup or co-founder experience, especially in equity-based roles where you've built something from scratch
Co-founder equity position with significant ownership percentage, ensuring your success is directly tied to the company's growth
Direct impact on a product with existing customers and recurring revenue, skipping the validation phase and jumping straight into scaling
