Chronicare is Strava for chronic illness. You log how you're doing, the app helps you see your patterns, and connects you with people whose journey looks like yours, same diagnosis, same treatment, same stage. You build a support circle, check in on each other through the good days and the rough ones, and feel less alone in it. Because living with chronic illness is confusing and isolating, and everyone is out there figuring out the same thing alone. We’re changing this.
We are a venture-backed, pre-seed start up. We're starting with IBD (Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis), where more than 3,000 patients already use and love the app. We’ve proven the need in the market and now we want to scale fast into the IBD community internationally.
We’re entering a pivotal stage of the company where user growth is a crucial pillar for success and in order to succeed in this space, we need to get creative and stay authentic with our storytelling and content creation. This role is as fun as it’s important.
Ideally you'll join us from September to December 2026 as part of your studies, but we’re flexible for the right candidate. Your number one job is content. Working closely with our CPO, CEO and a handful of paid creators, you'll take real ownership of our user-generated content, keeping a steady stream moving and staying on top of trending formats on TikTok and Instagram. You'll be the one who takes the effort and pushes it further. We're looking for someone who lives on social media, has a real eye for what works, communicates well, and knows how to capture an audience. It’s a bonus if you’re comfortable being in front of the camera.
Once you're up and running, you'll also get involved in:
Community and growth. Our product is built to spread through the people in it, from shareable invites to member circles. You'll help turn that into momentum: activating our community, growing our ambassador base, and turning members into advocates.
Brand positioning. Shaping how Chronicare looks and sounds everywhere people meet us.
Lives on social media and has worked with UGC before, or has been close enough to it to hit the ground running
Has an eye for design and good instincts for what looks and feels right
Moves fast, takes ownership, and doesn't wait to be told what to do
Is studying communication, marketing, media, or something adjacent
Cares about people living with chronic illness, and wants their work to mean something. Close exposure to chronic illness is a big plus.
A front-row seat at a venture-backed health startup during its defining moment, working directly with the founders
Real responsibility and real impact, with a supportive and caring team behind you
Hands-on learning through experimentation. We measure success by how fast we learn
A fun, creative, and passionate team. We care deeply about the work, and just as much about having fun outside of it
An office in the heart of Copenhagen at Bloxhub, sharing space with 20+ other founders and creatives
This is a student placement for ECTS credit (projektorienteret forløb), so it's unpaid, but you'll walk away with real portfolio work and responsibility.
If this succeeds, we'll invest and open real roles like this in early 2027
