IT Systems Administrator

Salary Competitive

At Too Good To Go, we have an ambitious goal: to inspire and empower everyone to fight food waste together.

40% of all food produced in the world is wasted. And that has a huge impact on the health of our planet, with 10% of greenhouse gas emissions coming from food waste.

We’re more than an app: we are a certified B Corporation with a mission to empower everyone to take action against food waste, so alongside our marketplace app, we create educational tools, explore new business solutions - such as our Retail Technologies offering, and influence legislation to help reduce food waste.

We’re growing fast: Our community of 122 million registered users and 249,000 active partners across 19 countries, have together already prevented 463+ million meals from going to waste - avoiding over 1.251.000 tonnes of CO2e!

We’re looking for an exceptional IT Systems Administrator to join the global IT superstar team at Too Good To Go in Copenhagen.

Your mission

Your mission is to ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the core IT systems that empower our global team to fight food waste. You will be a key player in managing and evolving our cloud-first infrastructure, with a strong focus on automating processes to enhance productivity. By managing our critical platforms, such as our identity management and productivity suites (including JumpCloud, Google Workspace, and Microsoft 365), you will directly contribute to the success of our mission by enabling our teams to work seamlessly and securely across the globe. This role reports to the IT Manager.

Your role

  • Administer, configure, and proactively maintain our key IT platforms. This includes our primary identity management (JumpCloud) and productivity suites (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365), as well as other SaaS platforms in our evolving portfolio.
  • Act as the primary driver for identifying, developing, and implementing automation solutions to streamline IT and business workflows.
  • Manage and enhance our cloud-based infrastructure, ensuring systems are secure, scalable, and optimized for performance.
  • Collaborate with teams across all departments on global IT projects, from planning and implementation to user training and support.
  • Maintain and improve system functionalities, ensuring our tools meet the evolving needs of the business.
  • Act as a technical escalation point for the IT Support team, providing expert-level assistance and mentorship.
  • Assist in managing relationships with technology vendors to ensure we are leveraging the best solutions and services.
  • Develop and maintain clear documentation for systems, processes, and configurations.

Requirements

  • Work experience: You have proven experience as an IT Systems Administrator or in a similar role, with a strong focus on system management rather than just end-user support. You have a track record of successfully managing cloud-based IT environments.
  • Technical Skillset: You possess a deep, hands-on administrative experience with identity management platforms (like JumpCloud) and productivity suites (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365). Experience with scripting for automation (e.g., PowerShell, Python, GAM) is a significant plus.
  • Mindset: You are a proactive and detail-oriented problem-solver who is passionate about building efficient, scalable systems. You have a "we win together" attitude and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced international environment.
  • Communication: You have excellent communication skills in English and can clearly explain complex technical concepts to non-technical colleagues.

Our values

  • We win together: Food waste is a big beast to fight. We believe in a #oneteam.
  • We raise the bar: We always push for more. We work smart, smash barriers and elevate one another.
  • We keep it simple: Our ambitions are bold but our solutions are simple.
  • We build a legacy: We’re proud of the change we’re driving.
  • We care: We always look out for each other. Caring is also about the way we do business. We do the right thing.

What We Have To Offer
