The Role

Join Dalea’s founding team and help evolve our live MVP into the go-to data platform for BioPharma and Life-Sciences. You’ll work across our full stack - building Electronic Notebook (ELN) and Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) features that real labs (including our existing academic customers) use today, improving platform reliability, and driving new capabilities from Day One.

Our Tech Stack

• Frontend: React, Node.js

• Backend: REST API, Node.js, GraphQL, Python

• Storage: PostgreSQL, S3

• Infrastructure: Docker & Kubernetes, Git-based CI/CD pipeliens, Traefik

While this represents our current deployment, your work will help shape and introduce new technologies as you see fit.

What You'll Do

• Shape the Platform: Drive core architectural decisions - choose new tools, optimize data flows, and architect for scale and reliability.

• Build High-Impact Features: Own end-to-end delivery of our ELN and LIMS modules, supporting real lab workflows into intuitive interfaces.

• Collaborate with Scientists: Partner directly with pilot customers to understand their challenges, validate prototypes, and iterate rapidly on feedback.

• Ensure Rock-Solid Operations: Harden our Kubernetes deployments, streamline CI/CD pipelines, and keep the client tenants performant and secure.

• Lead the Technical Vision: As an early co-founder, you’ll set engineering best practices, mentor new hires, and help foster a culture for growth and ambition.
