Have you ever moved into a new home without being able to see it beforehand or planned out your new apartment in Sims or other 3D software because floorplans weren’t enough? That feeling of uncertainty when you can’t take any measurements, visualise how furniture will fit, or even get a true sense of the space? What we do 

Virkley helps property developers and real estate agencies sell newly built homes while they’re still under construction by turning standard 2D floorplans into immersive, hyper-realistic virtual showrooms. Our solution empowers property developers to present properties interactively, with daylight simulations, different furniture layouts, and measurement tools. This allows buyers to explore and understand their future homes more intuitively, reducing uncertainty and helping them make confident purchasing decisions. Your Role 

You’ll play a key role in bringing our 3D experiences to life in the browser. You’ll work closely with our team of 3D artists and Machine Learning specialist to build engaging, performant, and intuitive virtual tours using modern web technologies. From programming the layout generation and interactivity to setting up realistic lighting and materials, you’ll help shape how future buyers and renters experience spaces, before they’re even built.

What we’re looking for

• Experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

• Bonus if you're already familiar with Three.js and/or WebGL.

• Basic understanding of shaders, lighting, and scene optimization.

• Familiarity with 3D assets and how to work with glTF/GLB formats.

• An eye for UI/UX and how users interact in 3D spaces.

Internship Details

• Duration: 3-6 months.

• Unpaid, but depending on the quality of your work, it may become a paid position.

• Flexible working hours and the chance to work remotely.

• We’re going through applications on an ongoing basis. Ideally, starting in the summer.
