Front-End Developer Intern to work directly with CTO in fast-growing startup (TypeScript/React)

Are you eager to turn classroom projects into production code? LikeMinded is a fast-growing, Danish startup supporting independent retail stores. We’re looking for a Front-End Development Intern who is ready to learn modern web technologies and contribute to our mobile-responsive multivendor e-commerce platform. We welcome applicants of all backgrounds.

Primary Responsibilities:

Work on our mobile-responsive multivendor e-commerce web application
Use TypeScript and React (both must-haves) and, if interested, explore C# and .NET Core
Focus on front-end tasks and, when relevant, assist with simple back-end work
Communicate effectively, learn quickly and incorporate feedback well
Optionally dip into cloud services like Azure and integrations or APIs such as Meta, Klaviyo, Stripe and others

Skills and Qualities We're Looking For:

Emerging proficiency in TypeScript and React
Curiosity about C# and .NET Core is a plus
Ability to communicate clearly, learn fast and accept feedback constructively
Interest in cloud providers (Azure) and common e-commerce integrations or APIs
A portfolio, GitHub link or small code sample you can show during the interview (alternatively, you can complete a short coding task with us)

Flexible setup: it's possible to work fully remotely, with flexibility to work from our Islands Brygge office (Njalsgade 76, 2300 Copenhagen S) once or more per week if you want to
A written reference and the potential for the internship to evolve into a paid role if we are a great match

Additional Information:

This is an unpaid internship
Duration and start date will be agreed upon together (eight-week minimum preferred)
You will work on your own PC or Mac (we do not supply computers)
You must have the right to work in Denmark

Introduction to Christopher (CCO): Prior to co-founding LikeMinded, Christopher spent more than two years working in investment banking at Citi in London, where he worked with Private Equity, Growth Equity and Venture Capital clients, and got extensive exposure to M&A transactions totalling more than €5bn across various sectors. Prior to this he worked as a VC analyst for the largest Danish VC fund, and was part of the sales team at Saxo Bank. Christopher has a BSc in International Business from CBS, and also studied at Columbia Business School. Currently he is taking a pilot license, and enjoys surfing, playing and watching football, and likes to travel with his girlfriend. Introduction to Lars (CTO): Lars is a 2nd time founder with >15 years of experience as CTO, and successfully exited from his previous venture. He has a very strong track record as a hands-on full-stack developer, with has a proven ability to build excellent teams.
