Crispa is an AI-native accounting firm. We provide full-service accounting and CFO services to SaaS and fintech companies, and we have built an AI-powered accounting and reporting platform from the ground up.
Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role based in Copenhagen. We provide plenty of flexibility, but we plan to work from the office at least 2-3 days per week. The hours will be less crazy than during ‘big-4 busy season’, but this is not a ‘lifestyle job’. We want to win this market and build a lasting company with a solid bottom line, and we will put in the effort it takes.
As the founding CFO practice lead - and the first accounting professional in Crispa (apart from the founder) - you will be responsible for defining, documenting, and continuously fine-tuning our accounting and reporting workflows. You will work very closely with defining, evaluating, and fine-tuning our AI agents. You will be working hands-on with serving customers, but every time you have to make a manual entry or correction, you will immediately start thinking about how we could automate that step.
You will also be involved in sales and marketing efforts. This will span everything from outreach to your network or cold-calling to land initial customers, to writing insightful blog posts about accounting and finance topics, or giving presentations and webinars to build our authority among founders and Finance professionals. You will build and coach a small team to deliver accounting services and insightful reporting with an efficiency and quality level that traditional accounting firms, running on legacy core systems, would consider impossible.
About you
You were at the top of your class academically and have a strong drive to keep learning. You have spent some of your spare time diving into AI because you realize how profoundly this will change the accounting industry. You are impatient and want to be part of making these changes happen.
People you have worked with will consistently say they learned something valuable from you and that they were impressed with your skills and work ethic. You are highly structured, instinctively turning complex tasks into clear plans and to-do lists and executing them with determination.
