As Marketing Manager, you’ll be part of a small but dynamic team of volunteers, working alongside our VP of Marketing and Content Manager. This role is ideal for someone looking to sharpen their communication and campaign skills, contribute to a meaningful mission, and collaborate in an international and supportive environment.
Please note, this is a voluntary position and you will need to join this organization as a premium paid member before starting in this position.
Email & Member Communication
Lead the creation and distribution of regular communications, including our monthly newsletter, event invitations, and post-event follow-ups using Mailchimp (or similar platforms).
Event Promotion Support
Coordinate with the Events team to ensure timely and accurate promotion of PWN Copenhagen activities. Help translate event concepts into compelling messages and campaigns.
Internal Process Coordination
Maintain and improve forms and workflows that help other board members share key information with the Marketing team, ensuring smooth collaboration and timely content.
Marketing Collaboration
Participate in monthly board meetings, contribute to marketing discussions, and share insights and suggestions on how we can continue to grow and engage our community.
Ad Hoc Support
Step in occasionally to assist the Content Manager with social media tasks or other small marketing needs as they arise.
Hands-on experience in digital communication and community marketing
A stronger understanding of how to support brand growth in a volunteer-led nonprofit

Background or interest in Marketing, Communication, or related fields
Excellent written and spoken English
Organized, proactive, and collaborative
Comfortable using email marketing tools (or eager to learn)

Time Commitment: Approximately 5 hours per week, with flexibility based on how many activities are planned for that week.
