At Interhuman AI, we're building the social intelligence layer of AI. Our mission is to make AI truly understand the rich complexity of human behavior across cultures and contexts, creating interactions that feel genuinely adaptive and socially intelligent. We achieve this through pioneering research in multimodal AI systems that decode the full spectrum of human communication - from the subtle micro-expressions that reveal confusion to the conversational patterns that signal trust and engagement.
Our technology goes far beyond surface-level language processing to capture what psychologists and behavioral scientists know matters most: the nonverbal cues, emotional dynamics, and interpersonal signals that make up most of human communication.
We're translating behavioral science research into AI systems that can recognize hesitation in a voice, read empathy in facial expressions, and understand the cultural nuances that shape how people connect.
We're initially targeting corporate training - a $400B market where existing solutions miss the human element entirely. Our product allows individuals to practice critical soft skills with AI that responds to their actual behavioral cues and provides meaningful, scientifically-grounded feedback on their interpersonal effectiveness.
We're in the early stages with a working prototype, excited first customers who see the transformative potential, and strong investors who believe in our vision to humanize AI interaction.
We're looking for a Behavioral Scientist to join as a foundational product hire, responsible for translating behavioral science into practical, scalable technology. This isn't about reviewing literature or running traditional studies - it's about defining how AI systems should interpret the subtle human signals that matter most: confusion, hesitation, empathy, disengagement, and the hundreds of other cues that reveal what people are actually thinking and feeling.
You'll work at the fascinating intersection of research and product, shaping how our models perceive and reason about human interaction. Your work will form the scientific backbone of our technology and directly influence our core product value. If you're passionate about seeing psychological insights transform how humans and AI interact, this role offers the rare opportunity to shape that future from the ground up.
Create the taxonomy of social and emotional cues our system detects and acts upon, grounding our technology in rigorous behavioral science
Lead development of annotation frameworks and behavior labeling schemes that capture the nuances of multimodal human expression
Collaborate with our AI team to translate behavioral constructs into model training objectives and validation frameworks
Design and oversee human rating pipelines that evaluate model accuracy against real-world behavioral understanding
Guide experimental design for pilots that measure perceived interaction quality, trust, and engagement from a psychological perspective
Collaborate with domain experts in behavioural science across countries and cultures
Act as the bridge between psychology research and product decisions, ensuring our outputs align with human expectations and genuine behavioral insights
Contribute to our IP strategy through original methodology and evaluation frameworks that advance the field
