On a global scale, there are too many people who don’t have access to the fertility services they need to start a family. We believe everyone should have the chance to build the family they dream of, no matter where they live, what their relationship status, sexuality, or budget is. Y factor is founded to offer an inclusive alternative focused on turning private (peer-to-peer) sperm donation into a safe, easy, and enabling experience. We aim to remove the barriers (cost, time, and impersonal feel) of traditional third-party services with a streamlined, secure platform.
Y factor is a young startup with a newly launched app, ready to nail the customer journey. We are currently a small team of 5 people working on the project, assisted by 2 freelancers, but we expect to grow to double our size in 2025. We value collaboration and social atmosphere as highly as professional performance. If you’re passionate about creating meaningful connections and helping others succeed, excited by the idea of building something that makes the world a better place, and love hands-on work and customer interaction, you might be exactly who we need!
We’re looking for a passionate Content Creator to help us tell the story of who we are and why Y factor matters to our users. Y factor is a two-sided marketplace, and you will therefore communicate with both sperm donors and future parents (single-mothers-to-be, LGBTQ+ or heterosexual couples looking for sperm). Your core responsibility will be to help translate our content plan into simple and engaging posts and videos for our social media channels, TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, to reach new users and tell our story. On the side, you will also support in creating visual marketing materials for print and our website. As we work in a sensitive industry and one of our goals is to break the taboo around sperm donation, you will help us to translate our tone of voice into visual material that is informative, sometimes funny or even thought-provoking.
As our Content Creator, you will be able to work creatively and independently on coming up with and executing on tasks, but stay in close collaboration with our Growth Lead, Karine, whom you will report to, and our CEO, Sofie.
Shape Our Content Plan: Collaborate with our Growth Lead to co-create the content calendar.
Lead Content Creation: Own the production of videos and social posts, explaining features, sharing user stories, offering tips, and humanising our brand.
Post and Engage: Actively manage our presence across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, posting regularly, responding to comments, and tracking performance.
Spot Trends: Keep up with social media trends and help us stay fresh and relevant.
Design Visual Materials: Support the creation of visuals for our website, marketing campaigns, and print materials.
Collaborate Across the Team: Work closely with teammates to align content with our tone of voice, especially in breaking the taboo around sperm donation.
