We are now looking for a Business Development Executive with experience or a strong interest in nature, biodiversity, or environmental industries. If you’ve worked in sectors like nature restoration, ecological consulting, or supported energy or infrastructure clients in meeting biodiversity or ESG goals, we’d love to hear from you.
As a Business Development Executive, you’ll support revenue growth by identifying new opportunities, building meaningful relationships, and closing deals with clients working in and around the nature and biodiversity space. Reporting to the Head of Business Development, you’ll help shape and deliver sales strategies, manage the pipeline, and contribute to business expansion.

Sales Execution & Lead Management
Identify and qualify leads, especially within nature-based industries, energy, land management, infrastructure, and related sectors.
Engage prospective clients to understand their biodiversity challenges and position our solutions effectively.
Maintain a well-managed CRM pipeline, forecasting and tracking deal progress.
Support contract negotiations and assist in closing deals alongside the Head of BD.
Customer Relationship Management
Build trust and long-term relationships with clients aligned with environmental values.
Support ongoing account development, including follow-ups, renewals, and upselling.
Gather and communicate client feedback to refine offerings and approach.
Market & Business Development Support
Assist with go-to-market plans and sales campaigns targeted at sectors with biodiversity and nature goals.
Conduct market research on industry trends, regulation changes, and competitive activity.
Collaborate with marketing to develop content and attend relevant events or forums.
Reporting & Sales Performance
Track KPIs and report on business development activities and outcomes.
Contribute to improving internal sales processes and documentation.
2+ years of experience in business development, sales, or client engagement roles.
Direct experience or a clear passion for working in biodiversity, nature restoration, ecology, ESG, or adjacent sectors.
Experience engaging clients in sectors such as energy, utilities, infrastructure, or land management is highly desirable.
Confident communicator and relationship-builder with consultative sales skills.
Familiarity with CRM tools like HubSpot, and tools like Sales Nav, Clay, Hey Reach.
Goal-oriented and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, mission-driven startup.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Environmental Sciences, Sustainability, or a related field—or equivalent experience. Would be ideal, but not 100%needed.
