At Lensor, we're building innovative tools to support farmers and land managers in their transition to sustainable and regenerative practices. Our work is grounded in science, innovation, and environmental impact, using satellite data and geospatial tools to unlock new insights into soil health, crop vitality, resource efficiency, and climate resilience. We’re a small but passionate team working on R&D projects with diverse user groups—from individual farmers to land managers and even cities like Helsinki. Now, we’re looking for a Soil Science Intern to join us and contribute scientific knowledge and fresh insights to our data-driven work!

Interested in soil science, regenerative agriculture, or land use? Lensor is searching for a motivated Soil Science Intern who’s excited about applying their knowledge in a real-world, tech-driven context. This internship is ideal for someone studying agronomy, soil science, environmental sciences, or a related field, and who wants to contribute to practical solutions for sustainable land management.

What You’ll Do:

• Support soil-related research, particularly around soil health, carbon sequestration, and regenerative practices.

• Help interpret and contextualize remote sensing and field data related to soils, vegetation, and land use.

• Contribute to the design of soil monitoring tools and indicators.

• Collaborate with our team of developers, designers, and researchers on current projects.

• Assist in preparing research summaries, case studies, or educational content about soil and sustainable practices.

What We’re Looking For:

• A background or current studies in soil science, agronomy, environmental science, or related fields.

• Passion for soil science, regenerative agriculture, or land use.

• Interest in applying data, maps, and geospatial tools to real-world challenges.

• Strong communication and research skills.

• Curiosity, self-motivation, and a willingness to learn and contribute in a multidisciplinary team.

Commitment & Recruitment Process:

• Expected workload: 15–20 hours per week.
