Position Overview:

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Tour Host to join our team and lead our food tours. As a Host for Foods of Copenhagen, you will have the opportunity to share your passion for food with travellers from around the world, guiding them through a culinary adventure filled with delicious tastings and cultural insights.

Responsibilities:

• Lead guided food tours of Copenhagen, providing engaging commentary and insights into the city's culinary history, traditions, and trends.

• Introduce guests to a variety of local eateries, markets, and artisanal producers, showcasing the diverse flavours and ingredients that define Danish cuisine.

• Ensure the safety and comfort of tour participants throughout the duration of the tour, including managing logistics and addressing any questions or concerns.

• Foster a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere among tour participants, encouraging interaction and sharing of experiences.

• Represent Foods of Copenhagen with professionalism and enthusiasm, serving as a brand ambassador for our company.

Qualifications:

• A passion for food and a deep knowledge of Copenhagen's culinary scene, including its restaurants, markets, and food traditions.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and entertain guests from diverse backgrounds.

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and logistics.

• Flexibility and adaptability to changing circumstances, including weather conditions and unforeseen events.

• Previous experience in hospitality, tourism, or a related field is preferred but not required.
