MasterSlide is a new SaaS platform for anyone who is in charge of running professional events or workshops. We offer a tool to organize, plan and excecute every step of the proces. Our cloud based software makes sure that you are on top of every detail around the event, to enable you to deliver a high quality event in a smooth and professional way. We want to help improve the quality of events and workshops by raising the standard of how events are planned and executed.

ABOUT THE TASK:

We are looking to build a brand new webapp based on existing designs. Your taks will be to decide how to best design the development roadmap ( in possible collaboration with external developers in Sri Lanka) and to execute the development hands-on. We have not yet decided on programming language, backend structure etc, so this will very much be in your hands, in careful dialogue with the existing partners in MasterSlide. If you are able to combine knowledge of backend and frontend design this is a huge asset.

As an MVP, the platform features include features/elements like a "Trello"-like visual overview, upload/download of documents, email notification system, user mangement and a subsription payment modul. More info will be shared in meetings with potential candidates. You will bascially head the development efforts in close collaboration with our tech-advisor and our CEO.

Our core company (and personal) values are trust, communication and courage - and we expect the same mindset from you. We offer a great deal of freedom to manage your own time, as long as deadlines are meet and we make steady progress. We don't have an office anytime soon, so you gotta love remote work, with time to focus on the important tasks. You (hopefully) have startup experience and can navigate changes to the planned roadmap.

ABOUT THE MasterSlide TEAM:

we are currently two people and an angel investor on the core team. Founders have great experience in the startup-world over the past decade, having founded and co-founded several international startups and raising capital from external angels and VC investors. Our previous investors include seasoned angels from Europe, Asia and Sillicon Valley. Founders have also mentored more than 100 startup founders and have previously developed accelerator programs and facillitated startup developement. We have international ambitions and an extensive global network and will be heading the commercial, organsiational and strategic side of MasterSlide.

The company has not yet been established (as we are not full time on the project) as we want to make small steps on the commercial roadmap first to test the waters. Simultaniously, we are laying the groundwork for investors to join. This is why we are open to invite the right candidate to be part of the founding team.
