We’re looking for a full-time Head of E-mail Marketing to lead and scale our global e-mail marketing efforts. In this role, you'll manage a team of four e-mail marketing managers and take full ownership of the strategy, execution, and optimization of our lifecycle and transactional e-mails across more than 30 markets. Your work will be instrumental in driving user engagement, retention, and revenue.

Lead and mentor a team of four e-mail marketing managers, ensuring strong execution and alignment with overall business goals.
Develop, implement, and execute a global e-mail marketing strategy across all stages of the user journey—from onboarding and activation to engagement and retention.
Oversee campaign planning, segmentation, automation, and performance analysis using Customer.io.
Define KPIs and ensure data-driven decision-making through continuous testing, learning, and optimization.
Collaborate with product, tech, content, and design teams to ensure consistent, personalized communication across all markets.
Scale and refine lifecycle marketing programs such as onboarding flows, retention campaigns, re-engagement sequences, and upsell messaging.
Drive A/B testing initiatives to improve open rates, click-through rates, and overall conversion performance.
Ensure compliance with GDPR and other data protection regulations across all markets.
Stay ahead of e-mail marketing trends, tools, and best practices to continuously evolve our strategy.
5+ years of experience in e-mail marketing, including 2+ years in a leadership role managing teams.
Proven track record of building and optimizing high-impact lifecycle and campaign strategies in a digital or subscription-based business.
Strong hands-on experience with Customer.io or similar marketing automation platforms.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive actionable insights.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a high-performing team.
Strong organizational and project management capabilities across multiple markets and priorities.
Solid understanding of e-mail compliance regulations, including GDPR.
