Role Overview

As a Developer at Envo, you will:

• Maintain & Improve Code: Keep our solutions stable, secure, and performant.

• Build New Features: Develop innovative projects from concept to launch.

• Optimize Performance & Scalability: Refine applications to handle growth and increasing data demands.

• Strengthen DevOps: Improve CI/CD pipelines, manage cloud infrastructure, and champion best practices.

• Own Your Work: Operate with a high level of independence and take projects to completion.

This role also offers the opportunity to collaborate on data science, AI, and advanced mathematical modeling for those with a keen appetite for these disciplines. As a small, agile team, we value independence, creativity, and continuous learning - everyone plays a key role in shaping our products and culture.

Your responsibilities may extend beyond traditional development, providing exposure to many aspects of a tech startup.

What We’re Looking For

• Technical Expertise: Experience with modern programming languages (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Next.js, React.ts, SQL).

• DevOps Know-How: Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/GCP/Azure, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Scientific & Data-Driven Mindset: Background in math, physics, statistics, engineering, or data science is a plus.

• Independent & Proactive: Comfortable taking ownership and driving projects with minimal oversight.

• Adaptable & Collaborative: Ready to step beyond coding when needed.

• Embrace AI Tools: Open to using GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar to enhance development.
