We’re Complir – a startup building AI tools to simplify product compliance for major Nordic retailers. We work across categories like textiles, toys, cosmetics, electronics, furniture, and food contact materials – because why pick just one when you can have all the complexity at once?

Now we’re hiring a compliance specialist to help us make sense of it all. Ideally, you’ve worked with product compliance in retail and still find the work satisfying — even when the rules change overnight.

Your role (aka what you’ll help us not screw up):

• Join customer meetings with our CEO Gustav.

• Help users succeed across our platform.

• Explore compliance black holes with our CPO, Tine – and help turn them into simple, useful product features.

• Share insights across categories (we’re not expecting you to know it all – curiosity and willingness to learn is key)

Must-haves:

• Experience in a compliance role in retail

• You’re comfortable navigating product documentation and regulatory requirements — and you don’t get overwhelmed when things get a little technical.

• Comfortable working across different product categories

• Not afraid of acronyms (BOM, SKU, REACH, EPR, ESPR, PPWR, PLM, ERP… you get it)

• You like working with early-stage products and figuring things out with others

• A hands-on mindset and a genuine interest in shaping better tools for compliance professionals
