Have you ever moved into a new home without being able to see it beforehand or planned out your new apartment in Sims or other 3D software because 2D floorplans simply weren’t enough? That feeling of uncertainty when you can’t take any measurements, visualise how furniture will fit, or even get a true sense of the space? If you're familiar with this challenge and want to help improve the experience for future property buyers and tenants, then this internship is for you!
Virkley helps property developers and real estate agencies sell newly built homes while they’re still under construction by turning standard 2D floorplans into immersive, hyper-realistic virtual showrooms. Our solution empowers property developers to present properties interactively, with daylight simulations, different furniture layouts, and measurement tools. This allows buyers to explore and understand their future homes more intuitively, reducing uncertainty and helping them make confident purchasing decisions. If you want to try our demo and get a glimpse of the future, you can try it here: https://virkley.com/real-estate-demo/
You'll be a core part of our mission to revolutionize property visualization through machine learning and web technologies. Using state-of-the-art deep learning techniques for image recognition and object detection, you'll help develop algorithms that analyze and convert 2D floorplans into interactive 3D environments. This isn't just a typical internship — you’ll experiment, innovate, and see your ideas make a real-world impact. If you're excited by startups, love problem-solving, and aren't afraid of pushing boundaries, this is for you!
