About the role

As a Strategic Business Development Associate at Queue-it, you will establish meaningful connections with potential enterprise customers and partners. You will serve as the initial point of contact for prospective clients in the APAC market (Japan), contributing to business growth and playing a crucial role in mobilising our partners. In addition, you will have a good understanding of the Japanese market and the interest of our partners, facilitating knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance the effectiveness of our business development efforts.

You will report to the Business Development Team Lead (APAC) and work closely with our colleagues in the sales department, as well as our partners.

Your mission

As a Strategic Business Development Associate, you will take ownership of outbound sales efforts by creating and qualifying new sales opportunities while supporting our partners in engaging with our initiatives and activities.


We are looking for someone:

  • Excited to research, strategize, and communicate with prospects to generate new business.
  • Capable of mapping and identifying potential partners, and proactively initiates and leads dialogues.
  • To develop and launch strategic campaign approaches.
  • Able to take ownership of larger accounts and manage department-wide projects.
  • With the ability to juggle multiple tasks and projects at the same time with a detail-oriented and structured approach.
  • With strong communication and presentation skills in Japanese and English. (Danish not required)


To qualify for this role, you should have:

  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years' experience in business development, tech or market analyst, preferably within the financial service industry(FSI) or public sector.
  • Collaborative mindset/ Team-oriented: We believe in teamwork and you are enthusiastic about achieving success as a team effort.
  • Strategic Thinking: A proven ability to think strategically, identify growth opportunities in different industries or markets, and develop outreach plans to capitalize on them.
