At Too Good To Go, we dream of a planet with no food waste

Imagine if there was something we could all change today that would reduce global warming by 10%. That’s how much food waste contributes to the climate crisis, and yet we continue to waste edible food all over the world.

As the world’s largest food waste-fighting app, we connect stores that have unsold, surplus food with consumers who buy and enjoy it. But we’re more than an app: we are a certified B Corporation and our mission is to inspire and empower everyone to take action against food waste.

We’re growing fast: Our community of 116 million registered users and 243,000 active partners across 19 countries, have together already prevented 431+million meals from going to waste - avoiding over 1.165.000 tonnes of CO2e!

This role is based in London, Shoreditch, and we typically prefer to follow a hybrid model, with 3 days onsite weekly.

Food waste is a huge global issue, with one-third of all food produced being wasted, a landfill is overflowing and our environment is really suffering the consequences. And it's not just about the food itself, it's all the resources that went into producing the food, the land, the water, the labour. It's a sad state of affairs and we're on a mission to inspire and empower everyone to take action! Our platform allows people to buy surplus, unsold food from restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, bakeries etc. that otherwise would have to be thrown out. Through our app, everybody can make a difference by 'saving' perfectly good, delicious food from going in the bin.
