Hey! 👋 We're Cap — a Copenhagen-based startup using AI to reinvent how venture capital firms operate. We call it VentureOS, a data aggregator that helps VCs discover and support the next generation of world-changing companies.

We’ve raised $2M+ in pre-seed capital, our waitlist has grown to 250+ VCs (still counting!), and we're looking for great people to join us in this exciting phase of rapid growth and innovation.

The role

We're looking for multiple Senior Software Engineers who gets excited about building features that are actually needed! You'll be working on complex challenges at the intersection of AI and venture capital, helping transform how investment decisions are made.

What you’ll be working on:

• Architecting and implementing AI systems that turn complex documents into structured insights

• Building scalable infrastructure that processes thousands of documents daily

• Creating elegant solutions for VC workflow automation

• Working with cutting-edge AI models to enhance decision-making capabilities

• Collaborating directly with VCs to understand and solve real problems

What we're looking for:

We care more about your ability to learn and adapt than specific technology experience. That said, you should be:

• Passionate about building products that users love

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where things change rapidly

• Excited about AI and its potential to transform industries

• Happy to code and work with an AI-first approach

• Experienced with modern development practices and cloud infrastructure

• Ready to take ownership and drive technical decisions

• Able to set the ego aside when needed — we all do what’s best for Cap 💪

Nice to have:

• Experience with AI/LLM implementations

• Familiarity with TypeScript and modern JavaScript

• Understanding of cloud infrastructure and serverless architectures

The tech we use today:

We believe in using the right tools for the job, and we're not afraid to evolve our stack as technology advances. Currently, we're working with TypeScript, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, and various AI platforms (Anthropic, Google AI, OpenAI), but we're always exploring new technologies that can help us build better solutions.
