LAB Finance is a specialized finance consulting firm redefining the traditional consulting model. We are committed to putting our people and their well-being at the forefront of everything we do. As a growing startup with a team of five and several subcontractors, we have the ambition to scale and are seeking the right person to help us get there. We’re looking for a leader to join us on this journey.

As COO, you’ll be responsible for optimizing internal operations, marketing, people & culture, planning, and the overall organizational health, while contributing with project administration to client-facing projects. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of our company and the finance consulting industry.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operations & Planning

• Help build and maintain our pipeline

• Manage and optimize project planning processes for both internal initiatives and client projects.

• Oversee the preparation and management of company budgets.

• Track and report on weekly and monthly financials.

• Being responsible for communication with our external bookkeeping company and external IT department

• General admin tasks such as ensuring up-to-date insurance policies, have dialogue with our lessors (regarding our offices), ensure our lunch arrangements are continuously optimized etc.

2. Client Project administration

• Prepare tenders, when needed

• Prepare detailed project planning for each client project.

• Manage invoicing and project financials.

• Get client scoring cards to measure customer satisfaction

3. People & Culture

• Champion and embody the company’s core values.

• Lead talent acquisition efforts

• Have ongoing

• Manage relationships with subcontractors.

4. Marketing

• Lead, define and execute the company’s marketing strategy.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a senior operational leadership role, ideally within consulting, finance, or similar industry.

• Strong background in financial & project planning

• Leadership skills with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire colleagues at all levels.

• Some degree of experience or interest in digital finance, technical accounting, process improvement, or ESG advisory is highly valued.

• Fluency in English
