LAB Finance is a specialized finance consulting firm redefining the traditional consulting model. We are committed to putting our people and their well-being at the forefront of everything we do. As a growing startup with a team of five and several subcontractors, we have the ambition to scale and are seeking the right person to help us get there. We’re looking for a leader to join us on this journey.
As COO, you’ll be responsible for optimizing internal operations, marketing, people & culture, planning, and the overall organizational health, while contributing with project administration to client-facing projects. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of our company and the finance consulting industry.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operations & Planning
Help build and maintain our pipeline
Manage and optimize project planning processes for both internal initiatives and client projects.
Oversee the preparation and management of company budgets.
Track and report on weekly and monthly financials.
Being responsible for communication with our external bookkeeping company and external IT department
General admin tasks such as ensuring up-to-date insurance policies, have dialogue with our lessors (regarding our offices), ensure our lunch arrangements are continuously optimized etc.
2. Client Project administration
Prepare tenders, when needed
Prepare detailed project planning for each client project.
Manage invoicing and project financials.
Get client scoring cards to measure customer satisfaction
3. People & Culture
Champion and embody the company’s core values.
Lead talent acquisition efforts
Have ongoing
Manage relationships with subcontractors.
4. Marketing
Lead, define and execute the company’s marketing strategy.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a senior operational leadership role, ideally within consulting, finance, or similar industry.
Strong background in financial & project planning
Leadership skills with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire colleagues at all levels.
Some degree of experience or interest in digital finance, technical accounting, process improvement, or ESG advisory is highly valued.
Fluency in English
