We're Catalysta, a SaaS solution helping organizations track, report, and reduce their greenhouse gas emissions. Our platform is based on first-hand learnings from 100+ GHG accounting projects and 20.000+ hours of work.

We raised a pre-seed round in November, onboarded Senior Developers and Head of UX through December and January, and have a pipeline of potential customers. We're now looking for a talented individual to help accelerate our pace of development and join us on our mission to make sustainability impact more transparent and actionable.

You will be working closely with the rest of the founding team to create a great product experience. 2025 is the year we will be launching our product and our focus now is on building the MVP.

This is a full-stack developer role but with emphasis on front-end. We build our platform in Django and our front-end is based on HTML templating, Bootstrap, and HTMX.

The role is based in central Copenhagen near Nørreport Station, and please note that we work from the office with some remote work flexibility. We collaborate closely in the team and discuss challenges as they come up. We share office space with the leading sustainability consultancy in the Nordics.

Responsibilities

• Architecture & Development: Participate in the overall architectural decisions and implementation of the Catalysta platform.

• Technology Selection: Drive the selection of appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools for the application’s development, deployment, and scaling. 

• Collaboration: Work closely with the developer team to translate business needs into technical solutions, ensuring the development process aligns with the long-term goals of the company. 

• Quality Assurance: Ensuring security and maintaining high standards of quality are crucial in this domain. We believe in achieving this through continuous, small improvements, quick user feedback, and thorough testing. We expect that you embody these principles.
