👋 We are Attensi, a global company founded in Norway specialized in gamified simulation training. Since our inception in 2012, Attensi has grown to become a global leader in the field, with training solutions used by global brands in more than 140 countries and in 50 different languages.

Attensi’s team now consists of more than 250 Game Changers across our HQ in Oslo, Norway and London and we have started building our team in Boston. We are growing, and are always looking for people who are passionate about technology!

If you can picture yourself as a part of a multidisciplinary team doing agile development, testing and delivery as well as spending your days working closely with other developers in and outside of the team to enhance the products in the Attensi Technology Platform we want to get i touch with you! 

Your main responsibilities will probably be:

• Develop the feature set and scalability of the Attensi Technology Platform backend
• Develop and establish secure and scalable APIs, and influence our technical discussions and decisions with your insight and knowledge. Currently, important decisions revolve around scalability, capacity planning, and security as well as choices related to orchestration of monolithic services and microservices through Kubernetes.

Any developer on the team will constantly be working on maintaining live environments as well as the development of new functionality. No matter what we code, we are all fans of lean processes and hassle-free development.

On the tech side of things, our backend infrastructure is hosted on AWS, and technologies used include: Ruby on Rails, .Net Core, PostgreSQL, Redis, Linux, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Kafka and Github (and Vue.js for frontend) - experience of working with some of these is good to bring along. Experience with CI/CD tools such as Travis CI, CircleCI, and/or AWS Codepipeline etc could come in handy too.

We would love to work with someone that is experienced and possesses good knowledge of API management and backend development with specific emphasis on Ruby on Rails.
